When estimating drywall, we dont take off for doorway top sheets or windows. Estimate like your hanging across tops of doors and scrap the cutout. It's faster to use the router for this which does save the whole piece but when hanging a house there are better pieces to use than the door cutouts

Just imagine if you found videos on building an onsite workbench to bring that mans back up to a good working height, and avoid injury from bending for 10 hours. Did they explain the logic of placing the tool at ankle height? I'd really appreciate a followup video on "Why we place tools that can be operated at any height only 12-15cm off the ground."

The drywall repairs can be done without the clips. Just cut out the square on the new drywall one one side, then brezk the edges and tear off the excess drywall around the square leaving flaps, then just put the square into the whole and use plaster to stick it to the surrounding drywall.

Now how's about you disappear back to the space under the deep frier and do what you're good at.

i mean, most of the people turning to youtube are either looking for other ways to do one specific thing, or are trying to learn how to do things on their own, in which case it is kind of stupid to say "you cant look up what you dont know because you dont know." everyone has to start somewhere, and a 40-something-year-old who wants to learn some things themselves instead of paying 20k for people to build shit for him and not learn anything, they dont get to go back to being 18 and working for a family friend to learn, and i dont see many 40 year old who are trying to avoid paying 20k in labor costs paying to go to trade school for a year or two just to work on their own house. like... i get it, this shit isnt impressive for people who actually do it for money or have been doing it as a part time trade for years. but it doesnt make your dick any bigger to tell the world how much more you know about a trade than someone who doesnt work in the trade... matter of fact, it makes it look quite a bit smaller and self-conscious
