This looks like a very technically difficult project with the floor stumps being crucial to the overall success. Fabulous result after loads of hard work. May I ask what state or country this project was in?
I love the high ceilings and all that light from outside, makes it a perfect home, thats beautiful guys.
Love the little music. Makes for a peaceful nighttime watch with a cup of tea. Thank you. 💐🏆☕️🍪
Absolutely wonderful result. Every room is perfect and the exterior looks fantastic.
I'm feeling so grateful for the beauty that exists in the world after watching this.

WOW!!! and another WOW!! What a beautiful house. Great work everyone, from the base of the house to the roof, this place is awesome!!
WTF? Woden floor? Why?! In these situation in Poland we make: sand, styrofoam or expanded clay, waterproofing, concrete base, flooring. No one fucks with foundation poles, beams etc. And what about worms? xD

Yeah, same deal in germany, if you don't have a cellar underneath. Every time I see some US house building stuff, I have the feeling, that they don't build to last. Good insulation + concrete foundation above it would be my choice. Also, with these wooden floor boards, you cannot use tiles for flooring. Even the elastic tile 'glue' will give up over time.

@@Ceen328 and one more thing - let a water pipe burst somewhere... good luck with the wooden floor :D In our case, you open the door and the water flows out. After 2 days you are dry.

Another great video!
I really enjoyed watching your video and in Australia no less truly awesome. The house come up beautiful you have done an awesome job. I to am am a fellow Aussie and there isn’t a lot of these videos to watch that I’ve seen from our good country. So thanks for sharing very well done.😊

That was a thorough renovation. I would have made different choices for the interior, though.
I might be wrong but it appears at about the 15 minute to 16 minute mark they are putting drywall up with no insulation in the wall. All the other shots showed insulation but not this particular wall. What would be the reason for that? Also I don’t know why folks complained about the speed of the video, just change your speed setting if you want it slower.

Beautiful!!
Outstanding share 👍🏻👍🏻
Nicely done but those are not parquet flooring.
Great job gentlemen
Gorgeous!
Amazing.
Did anyone else notice that they were inconsistent about insulating the walls? Some of the exterior walls had areas with no insulation in them as they put up the drywall. 🤷♂️
Is that MDF board they are using for subfloor
soil bearing capacity influences the AREA of the foundation (footing) (weight per area} not necessarily the depth - as well as obviously the imposed load? The depth of the foundation (footing) is determined by the strength of the material and presence or not of reinforcement and by its position in the soil relative to the depth of frost and or stable soil or bed rock? Typical minimum soil bearing is 2000 psi, meaning a 12x12" footing could bear (12x12" x 2000# or 288,000 lbs)? Assuming the footing remains intact (reinforcement). Continuous verses individual footings respond to potential of lateral as well as earthquake loads and can be dictated by local codes. Commentators, please make corrections.

Very nice job! But, the video speed must be more slow down, and if necessaire, divide in 2 videos. But, the most important, is that we really can appreciate and to learn with their own experience, if not, no goodwill. Sincerely! Congratulations!

No vapor or moisture barrier for the bare dirt? House isn't going to last
With no plywood on the roof what stops it from racking, the metal roof itself has no lateral strength.
Sorry, those are not parquet floors. But everything does look great.
But this kind of video guy, if you don't start to make more slow down, your channel Wong go ahead . Trust me! Thanks!
Thank you
Very hardworking man👍👍👍👍🙏
Definitely some standard DIY mistakes going on hopefully they don't end up being major issues late. Definitely should have had some Vapor Barrier down some type of plastic in that Foundation covering the dirt also didn't appear that you used structural lumber for your joist.... I'm sure it's 100% better than it was

Thanks for the comment, here in Australia we don't normally use vapour barriers on the sub floor. We do care a lot about ventilation and letting the structure breathe. The bearers and joists used are termite and moisture resistant LVL's. They are structural and engineered and great to work with because they're straight as an arrow. Is it normal not to put insolation before the floorboard to avoid cold draft coming through the floor.

Depends where you live in Australia. Different codes and ways of building in different states due to vast climate differences across the country. Materials used and style of building also varies from state to state again due to climate.
Beautiful building and beautiful finishing and everything is just so flawless

Hello everyone have a nice day amazing video
how is this "quantum" "tech" ???
UAU 😃👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️😍
✌
So many things wrong with this development but my pet peeve is the lack of eye protection PPE from the workmen, especially when using Stihl disc grinders.
I guess money was not object !?
What happened to the lower area? I think I seen a basement in there
@avrildavies2959

Basements are very rare in Australian houses. We don't need to protect against ice mostly, which is why Americans have a basement to protect water pipes, boilers/water heaters, etc. Add in the northern part of Australia floods regularly, shallow rock level which is expensive to excavate, and that we don't need the extra storage space. Our Water heaters aircon units and electrical boards are on the exterior of the house. Its rare to have an attic as well.

The quality of work is questionable. The insulation of the roof was done poorly, not according to the technology of laying the insulation. At the end of the video, a close-up of a floor tile is shown in the shower area; it is cut crookedly and chipped. This is possible with a bad or old disk. The window frames are mounted with gaps at the corners, and the nail heads are not hidden. Working in dirty shoes on the final finishing material, especially when finishing a fireplace with stone, when a pebble can fall onto the finished parquet and leave a mark in the soft wood. And so on. In general, no one would accept such a job from us. But the design of the house is great! Good luck!
❤👍❤
I liked it better before!
I don't understand why they didn't fill the space under the floor with soil or gravel, but instead made pillars and left an empty space below! Great video nonetheless.

No insulation on those walls not good, weak floor.

Very fast video, and therefore it is not clear how it is all done!
Bad flooring system. The crawl space can’t breathe. A vapor barrier and crushed stone or concrete would have made all the difference. At the very least, they need to ventilate the hell out of the crawl space or it will mold badly

@@avrildavies2959 - The whole world is not America……That was quite the intuitive leap! Do they not have humidity in Australia? Or are they lacking vapor barriers or crushed stone? Oh wait…….gravity is reversed on that side of the equator. Humidity falls instead of rises. Point is, aside from your ignorance, certain building practices are universal. Moisture control and ventilation are key to the longevity of any structure

Would have been easier and less expensive to tear it down and build a new house.
