Yep, caves carved into silt/dust, the softest rock imaginable and still be called that, 'stabilized' by an eggshell layer of only a few millimeters of concrete 'strengthened' by straw? Then above that, several tons more of the same, then build heavy brick structures on top of that? I'm thinking the entire hillside will collapse with how the caves have weakened it, and those apartments will be down with the livestock, collapsed under the tons of silt currently above them.

I think a housing crash will happen because all those people who bought homes over asking price, although it was at a low interest rate, they are over their heads. They have no equity if the housing prices continue to go down, and if for whatever reason they cannot afford the house anymore and it goes into foreclosure because even if they try to sell, they will not make any money. I think this will happen to a lot of people especially with the massive layoff predicted for the future and the cost of living rising at a high speed.

Wow! One of the most interesting natural home builds I've seen. I can see the remainder of the "roof" covered in low-growing perennials (clover and such) for a green roof. I don't suppose that a leaky roof would EVER be a problem! Very impressive!

I would be worried about heavy rain and land slides burying my home. Hopefully they plant good deep rooting ground cover around the edges and sides of the hills for strengthening the resistance of the dirt against landslides.

And heavy rain could saturate ground, making it 2-3x heavier while arch structure might not collapse it will atleast leak, and landslide is prolapse. Personally I feel there is not enough structural support in created artificial Hill in and outside

Was there a geological study done before this project started? It looks like the dirt of the mountains is very loose,the reinforcement that were being used are not strong enough to fight again erosion. Besides what is the point to spend so much money and effort to build such structure in the middle of nowhere?

Я был уверен что будет бетонная заливка и армирование всех стен и потолка. При любом сейсмическом толчке, это всё обрушится как карточный домик(

Ich find das auch nicht schlecht, aber ich glaube die Plastikvertäfelung macht die Raumluft sinnlos unangenehm. Der ganze Berg begrünt fetzt sicher sehr. Schade, dass es nicht aktuell ist.

I thought same, :D . Plus not sure if that brick arch is trough enough if ground ever gets saturated due once in century rain. But having house in ground does give better temperature trough year. Over all not a bad idea, just might need more structural supports like they do in industrial mines.

The "Great Wall" of Nowhere, a pharaonic and expensive project, not within the reach of weak budgets, with such vaults it looks like the entrance to the Channel Tunnel ! Imagine what they would've achieved if they had planned it out. Seems like they had a good idea however they were building it as they went that's why they ended up with so much wasted space in the bathroom. The whole endeavor wasn't thought out. Before they started excavating they should've had some kind of floorplans laid out.
