Yeah, it's no big deal when you have to do it daily though. I painted houses for many years, if you cant cut a straight tape line, you're just a helper in the painting world.

The thing I learned as a painter was to invest in quality brushes and take care of them. They do most of the work for you once you get the muscles to keep your arm and hand steady

It's ultimately safer to cut towards you as long as you don't need to apply force, but yeah that's not something you wanna tell someone for their first time

As a long time framer sometimes I cut backwards with a circular saw. I tell people do not do this. I do it because I have experience and I am a good cut man. You always get that one guy. Oh you don't know what your doing or talking about. Then they will try it and find out it is not as easy as I make it look! So yeah your absolutely right, but those same people well not listen and say well I saw in on you tube as you take em to the e room!

You never mow another man’s lawn. Not only do you not know how each man likes his lawn, but you are robbing him of his pride to tend to his home.

For any wondering... no the horse does not feel pain during the shoeing and trimming process and they actualy need it done, because their hoves can be damaged by pavement, and they need to be trimed because they dont wear down like they did in the wild. So they need to be shoed or trimed.

I've painted professionally and though we use tape around trim and drip spots, anyone can learn to cut in the edges like that in an hour. The change you'll see is how fast you get. Faster hands and set up means more jobs>more cash.

Considering taping off a room properly can take much more than an hour, where would you suggest an eager learner start?

And here I tought I'd see a nice, fast, and efficient method of organising cables from a complete mess into proper cable management.

I used to work in a paint shop but never really did much painting but I thought it was just normal to do your edges first, even mowing lawns I go around the edges first 😅. Also I was always told, "take all the jewellery off first", that meant handles and locks or anything easily removable that would get in the way, but I suppose everyone probably just uses tape and plastic covers now, cos removing stuff is way too hard 😂
