Possibly because I sat at it for Christmas lunch from the time I was small, and used to roll the billiard balls across the felt when I was only just as tall as the table. Or maybe it was when the table came to our house to live for awhile. It is a 3/4 size table, with four large wooden panels - two ends, two middles - that cover the table and turn it into a dining table. These panels slide into two drop-down ridged panels underneath the table so one can play pool. The dining chairs had to be specially made because the table is higher than a normal dining table. Anything else you would like to know?

Small house owner. Some of these things are good, others are just puzzle furniture or novelty doors for fun. Very few of these pieces would be worth the extra crevasses to clean, or the frequency you'd need to replace the cushions on the folding chairs/beds. Creative ideas, but not so practical for daily household/ family use. I challenge designers to have toddlers or shedding pets in mind with their design. Will it topple or break if pulled not just so? Can you fit a vacuum cleaner under it? How much space needs to be clear of anything else to move? Would something cheaper solve the problem easier? Does this break building codes? Just some things to think about.
