My father was doing many of these around 45 years ago, when I was a child. He didn't have much to work with as tools, except for hand tools, drill, a power saw. He added a few more things here & there through the years. He built his own work shop & made a make ship fireplace for the winter. It was amazing what he was able to do with 3 years of school. He built all our furniture, which is solid as ever & still in use. He built furniture for relative & anyone who needed it. It was incredible what he could do with so little. Through the years he was offered many jobs to do cabinet work or build furniture for companies. He turned them all down. He built furniture because he enjoyed it and he liked helping those that needed help. He gave away many Oak, Walnut, Cherry & other wood dressers & other furniture to help others. In other cases he would only charged for the materials in he had in the piece He worked at a lumber company, so he could get the wood much cheaper. I can only imagine what he could have done with today's tools & technology. God, I miss him.

The tip at 7:42 with the water bottle. I had that happen to me once, all I did was put the new light bulb in & unscrew it. The old piece came right out. Then put the new one back in. I hope that made sense. 👍

The broken head on the nail, just use the claw of the hammer sideways. No need for piers and crowbar. Won't work if it breaks close to the wood though.

Where is a piece of ABS plastic when you need it. It might be useful but somethings are more complicated hacks. Like the ABS in the bin bag. I don't know of many people who keep ABS plastic lying around. For the most past it incredibly useful stuff making do with what you have lying around at home. Even that drain unblocked really epic. Was that hard plastic they used there?
