thanks for the video! nice build not shure i would have roofed it that way but local materials and conditions change. i find it funny to see chep pallets in videos more and more often, i understand there preferred use good cdn hardwood pallet vs cheap scrapwood is a nobrainer but the bleu pallets are rentals best of my knowledge chep dosnt sell there pallets only lease them to shipping and receiving operations ..you may wish to be cautious here just like old record collections fit into milk cartons the cartons belong to the milk producers who sued many to regain losses.

I'm glad that he spray foamed on the interior walls but he used metal framing attached to the shipping container, (if you don't know), if the metal framing is touching the shipping container interior walls and then you hang drywall on the metal framing it will transfer heat from the outside to the inside and because the temperature difference on the outside and the inside it will create condensation on the metal, and that will rot the drywall and it will cause Black Mold in the home. Also everything that isn't water proofed will rust. Making a shipping container home is a delicate process of know how and research, if you just go at it without enough research it may look nice now when you're all done but it will not survive the test of time and all that time and energy will be wasted in 5 - 10 years time or sooner depending on the conditions. Also, he poured cement for the floor with zero reinforcement, that floor will crack to hell and back as the shipping container shifts and settles. He didn't put any rubber down before putting the mounting plate down on the cement witch will also cause more condensation that will also cause more rust and mold. Jumping on the band wagon to gain views for a KZread channel is cool and all but don't follow what he does to a T, know local building codes and make sure you follow proper building procedures so that you don't make a costly mistake following what this guy is doing. His building procedures may differ from where you are and even though he has made some mistakes, the biggest mistake would be making them yourself without the proper research or know how. This is my opinion as I've been building tiny homes, homes, and boats, and have renovated all that were mentioned for nearly 15 years now.

@@user-random-characters There's a system that creates a perfect environment for as close to zero transfer of temperature as possible and that's made by "The Container Guy" who has a KZread channel. You can learn more on how to make it yourself from him or buy his setup but it's fairly easy to understand. Metal on metal is bad because it causes a temperature difference between the inside and the outside causing condensation which we call inside rain. Which is the leading cause of rot/mold and rust. I'd like to eliminate rot and mold from the equation and stick with metal. Metal doesn't mold and cause sicknesses, but wood does. So, by going by his build method it eliminates rot/mold/rust (if done right) lastly by doing so (using metal) you can add extra structure in the walls if you decided to stack the containers or bury them for a bunker project (but that's even more indepth) so my long winded answer will always be metal. I grew up in my childhood home that had black mold and I was very sick for a long time. No child or person should have to be a victim of poor building methods.

This is just some AMAZING CONSTRUCTION MASTERY. I am just in admiration and have so much respect for people like this gentleman, who is so talented and skillful at his craft. This is awesome workmanship. I think I want one of these. I do have a 18' Unit used as storage.

You will never get good proportions from using just ONE shipping container. The best build I have seen was using TWO shipping containers in parallel with a gap of about 10 feet spanned by wooden construction.

I loved the interior and the circular concepts. Truly a successful idea in the circular economy.

The idea of container homes is they could theoretically be built for the most part under controlled conditions, say in a yard, and then transported to the site with only minor touch ups left to do. But assembling it onsite looks harder.

Yeah, no kidding. You're basically doing EVERY single thing you would building a regular house, except in a box that achieves little more than eventually becoming the siding... I've actually always thought they were cool, but if you're doing this much work too them, you're not saving and time/ cost.

может гдето и получается из контейнеров дешевле но в наших краях из контейнера дороже ибо в итоге от него по сути остается каркас и проще привезти те же металлические трубы и сварить их на месте чем возится с контейнером
