Seems to go in waves across generations; first wood, then "modernising" by painting, then nostalgia/appreciation for the look of real timber, then a new wave of "modernisation" (by painting) again . . . and so on :-)

When I sold my house, it had natural wood floors, stairs and banisters. The buyer sold it to a contractor (for a loss) and the contractor painted the walls white and the banisters and stairs black. They also glued down synthetic grey and black, wood-grain floors. Of course they took out walls too, 2 of them were load-bearing.

The tar is too hot, which wrecks the composition and makes it not work properly. The 1st video of the roofer is doing a terrible job. He would never touch a bucket again in my crew.

It's really common for people in the UK to bang on about "health and safety gone mad" when our regulations seem over the top. Watching this puts a different light on it. Some of those guys are at insane risk of accident and injury. We all deserve to go home fit and well after a day's work. I hope everyone in this film is still in one piece.

1:14 Aluminium doesn‘t rust. Yes it oxidizes, but that oxidized coat is acutally harder than the raw aluminium underneath.

Тут главное пару "тренировочных" объектов, а потом будет как по "маслу" из личного опыта и если есть опытный напарник то один "тренировочны" объект и все будет прекрасно. Главное что бы"ТЫ" сам имел представление что и как делать и как при этом держать инструмент, и какой именно инструмент нужен. И тогда будет "БАУНТИ".
