So, cool, i just converted a 212 predator gocart to a posi, but I am having issues with gear ratios and stalling. I tried to add fwd/rvr gearbox, but during testing, it blew out the back and decided, who needs reverse anyways. Seeing this vid inspires me. Thanks for sharing!

Many years ago I was at a private bazaar with my junior and we found a huge dream of a go kart, or rather a powerful construction with a sports chassis etc. but without an engine, it was just a three-speed pedal and a nice gear selector like the car. Son and I bought it very cheaply before it was exhibited and we had so many plans for it But the vehicle is over 2m long and 1.5 wide and is mainly made of aluminum, so only someone who really knows their stuff, like the gentleman in the video for example, should take it.

A term I never thought I'd ever use in my life, but man, that's such a cute build!
When I was a kid I had a 5 hp Clinton motor, which i drilled the exhaust, and put a tiny Makuni carb on it that i got off a wrecked scooter. It went from 20 mph to 45 and would do burn outs.

i think the handbrake would be best with a horizonal handle, vertical looks a bit tricky to find in a rush. it's at a good height where it is at now but not much to grab and looks like it's in a bit of a blind spot from drivers perspective
