    re: wire saw used to cut broken piece without damaging the other pipe. where do you buy the pvc connector used in the video to fill the gap that was cut?

I meant that their are a lot of tips and hack videos on KZread that have more filler than tips. What I said was meant to be a compliment to the video.     When using a hose clamp of any size a T torquer is the best tool as it will allow maximum tightening and prevent stripping of the threads.

    One more hint for hose clamps. If they are new, spray a little WD40 or other lubricant into the threads it makes them turn so much easier.

    @@stevendycus9559 Technically it is a lubricant due to the oil it contains, though its efficacy as one is debatable. But in cases where any lubricant is better than nothing and this is the only thing someone has handy, definitely use it.

    My thoughts exactly. Water pressure is to high to do a live tap like shown, in America. Most everything shown here is Chinese, building codes wouldn't allow that stuff to fly here.

    i can't imagine melting in something to fix a plastic pipe, then melting on a patch. in a pinch, i can see it happening. but they had special melting tools i never saw.

    I got one of those Chinese pipe expanders they work pretty good too and they're cheap we're talking 167 versus A7 $800 American one

    How come they don't tell you what they spread on the pipe before blowtorching it? The pvc pipe at the beginning? Anyone know what it was? Maybe acid?
